“I simply asked Her to help me see what was true.”

After months of evidence of a lump, there started to be discomfort. Throughout this time, I was adamant that I would not consent to this lie. I did not confide in anyone, which is unusual since I often whine to my husband about every little challenge.

When there started to be discomfort, I began to speak with Mother, God. I had begun addressing Her as such since reading Mary Baker Eddy: Christian Healer made me appreciate the Comforter more. The Comforter stood out to me as the motherhood of God.

During a walk in the woods, I simply asked Her to help me see what was true. Within an hour the lump drained.

Mrs. Eddy told of early healings where she would simply fill her thoughts with God, God, God. The idea was to keep it simple and let the Truth counteract the lie. Healing is not a task that we have to do.
