Our association assignment is to read all or as many of Skip’s articles as you can from his 4 Volume set. Let’s remember his words of wisdom on how we should read them:

“I hope, as always, though, that what will seem most strikingly new to you as you read will be Christian Science itself. It takes serious listening to really “hear” what’s being said in the Bible, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, and Mrs. Eddy’s other writings. We don’t necessarily get it by a cursory reading, and we tend to skim over words or fall back on a long-ago established sense of what they mean. It seems to me this is, in fact, the role of any demonstrated Christian Science article—it works to wake us up, to make us “hear” what has actually been there all along for us in this great discovery and great revelation. It resurrects thought and frees us from being “buried above ground in matter,” to use Mrs. Eddy’s expression.” (Preface of Volume III)

Please address these three points as you read his articles:

1. Share a physical healing or heallings in which reading one or more of Skip’s articles had played an important part in your own spiritual study and prayer and ultimate healing.

2. Share a testimony other than physical healing in which reading one or more of Skip’s articles had played an important part in your own spiritual study and prayer and final demonstration.

3. Share a transforming experience like Saul to Paul which came about reading Skip’s article(s).
