 1)  What do you feel the word creation implies?

After reading the chapter “Creation” this word somehow means to me infinity or infinite possibility and also every occurring.

2)  In your own words describe your impressions of the chapter “Creation” in Science and Health.

When I first read the chapter “Creation”, the first thing that came to me was the account of Nicodemus and Jesus in the New Testament.  The “Creation” chapter instructs us so clearly and practically how we should be born again from a material self to spiritual reality.  In other words, this chapter shows so practically how we should/can demonstrate Christian Science; how we should put off the material garment and wear a spiritual white garment, by constantly renewing and washing ourselves by Spirit which can, at times, require a great deal of struggle. (see SH, p. 267)  In order to do so we must put never-changing spiritual creation always in front of us and firmly understand through spiritual sense this creation – God and His infinite reflection, man.  Thus, the chapter “Creation” offers clear and helpful instruction how we should turn away from the creation of the 2nd chapter of Genesis to that of the 1st chapter of Genesis.  In other words, we must constantly understand the spiritual creation which is always here and now with us under any human circumstances.  This can only be done through great sacrifice of self and universal Love.  It is indeed daily bearing our cross and following Christ; only after this we will finally wear the crown, “white glistering” garment purified by Spirit.

3)    How can the increased understanding of true creation made a difference in your life? Better yet, share with us how the truth of creation has been, or is being, demonstrated in your life.

This understanding has been making me freer and I have come to feel more possibilities in my life.  In other words, I have been spending my daily life with greater expectation and newness.
