The evolution of my prayer

I had been working on healing some pain, but had not been successful. Yet the work and the growth were good, so here is the evolution of my prayer.

I started by praying: I am the perfect child of God.

This grew to: God is the perfect God. God has this day. God has me, but not just me or first me. God has all. “I am the Lord, and there is none else” (Isa. 45:5).

This was shortened to: God is. God is all. There is a God. There is a creator. God is good, all good.

Then a couple of days before going to visit my elderly father, I had a suggestion of a cold. And a moment of worry: I hope this cold doesn’t prevent me from going to visit Dad. But my prayer came to me, and I knew and demonstrated that God is and God is good.

There was no more error. And I had a nice visit with my dad.
